A big welcome to one and all. We are a group of friends / enthusiasts who have a shared interest in foraging from the wild. Our biggest interest at present are wild fungi and to a lesser extent various herbs, flowers, berries, fruits and roots gathered from the hedgerows and woodland of West Sussex.
Wild Foragers consists of Neil and Justin we both share an interest in the countryside and it’s pursuits. We our both kindly supported by wives, family and friends many of whom either have an exceptional amount of patience or an eager interest in the subject.
We work with a number of businesses in the area in an attempt to support the local economy, including talks at restaurants, food fares and foraging tours on the Cowdray estate at Midhurst.
The aim of this blog is to share our enthusiasm (hopefully with some interesting information) and as it grows to introduce a variety of topics that may serve as educational or just fun.
Our best regards
Neil & Justin
